Fritz has made chess so easier I know i've asked this question before but would someone be able to tell me some good sites to download chess games. Also is there anyway to properly delete games in the fritz 7 database, if you click delete it juist puts a line through.

when i try to download the games in pgn form from www.chesscenter.com/twic/twic.html most of the time it gives me the games in a written form as if i should save it to word and just use it like that, but won't let me download the games in pgn so i can use it on fritz, why is this happening?

gibo you have fritz 7.0 so you can download in chessbase format if you chose. I use chessbase 8.0 and have no problem downloading either pgn or chessbase format.

Make sure the games you are downloading... are worth downloading.

A huge mistake many make is downloading junk games. I have a database of over 3,000,000 games, and all are master level. I know others have 10,000,000+ games, but I believe my database is of more value.

also a good site worth nothing is www.chessnetwork.com/ncn/ which has the very latest in all news and chess games which can be downloaded. Also in Fritz in the "N" column mean? At a start of the game i have the number 239 000 on there? what does that mean?
